Question by All it takes is a spark: Is it bad for me to play “guy games”?
I was on psn home today (dont ask why hahaha) and this chick comes up to me and shes all “you talk like a bloke and the games you play are all guy games.” Then she started yelling about me being a pervert and stuff for “dressing like a girl”
And I’m all whoa, whoa, hon, I’m a girl. And yeah. Now I’m sad because I feel like I come off as a guy D:
Is it bad for me to play games like dead space, COD, infamous, RDR, etc?

Don’t listen to what other people say! If you like playing those games then play them! Their opinion is unneeded

No game is designed for a certain gender, anyone can play whatever game they want. I play a lot of games that are stereotyped as guy games, and I’m not the only one. There are lots of girls out there that do the same thing as you, and you shouldn’t be ashamed of it.
If people out there are going out of their way to harrass you because you are playing “guys” games, then they need to get a life. They would do the same thing if they were in your shoes. -

Not at all.
If anything, I’d wish their were more girls like you.
I find the stereotype of games like you mentioned being considered “guy games” stupid to be honest.
It’s time that people move more away from the generic views of games and into the modern age where ANYONE can play whatever game they wish, no matter what gender they happen to be.
Also, I happen to enjoy playing games with girls to be honest. I use to play Counter-Strike alot afew years ago and I knew this one girl that I played with almost everyday, and I found it more fun than just playing and having the general “competition” that us guys usually have against each other while playing games.

NO! be yourself, dont let some random troll get you down. look at her, she was goin through your online information, and getting upset of how you act, and she doesn’t even know you! plus i dont see how any game is a “guy game” my sisters (both VERY girly) play COD and halo and all my “man games” and it doesnt make them weird.
