Question by : Have you observed that swimmers weigh more than other people do?
First of all I’m a varsity swimmer. I raise weights and do some abs with my group for an hour prior to school on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. On Tuesday mornings we swim for an hour prior to school. After school we swim for 2 hours (occasionally it goes a little over). On Saturdays we swim for 2 hours unless there’s a swim fulfill. I’m really tough (like I can do 3 sets of 15 leg extensions with 155 pounds, and that’s not even too bad). I’m not saying that I’m all muscle, like the tops of my upper legs are still soft, like the top third of my leg however I’m tight throughout most of my leg. I don; t have a 6 pack however I have a line down the center and those side lines that show where the perimeters where your 6 pack might end if you had one haha I am 17 years old and a little under 5′ 10″ (like 5′ 9 3/4) and weigh about 172. I recognize that that’s high in basic, but if your muscley don’t you generally weigh even more? I use about a dimension 12 in womens and a size 13 in juniors. By size 12 in womens and 13 in juniors I suggest my blues jeans dimension. I’m smaller sized on top. Like a size 10 in womens. My outfit size (like I just purchased a homecoming outfit) is dimension 11 in juniors. I’m not truly thin, I’m curvy but I’m even not fat. I’m typical if that makes sense.

Like have you guys observed that you and your swimmer good friends weigh greater than your buddies also though you’re the exact same dimension as them?

Greatest answer:

Response by BenThat might be
because muscle weights more than fat. If you swim, your body establishes muscles, which weight even more than fat. That is the explanation swimmers, as all major sportspeople, weigh more.
